Event MANAGEMENT

The game development industry is full of incredible gatherings and communities that I’ve been very fortunate to be a part of. Initially I would partake in them as an indie game developer myself, but I couldn’t resist joining their event teams to help support the magic, longevity, and growth of these communities.

These events included Global Game Jam, IndieCade (International Festival of Independent Games), Games for Change Festival, and regional chapter meetups for the International Game Developers Association. It was an amazing opportunity to help the attendees of each create meaningful connections and discover or create brilliant new game experiences.

My duties across these events covered venue sourcing, production schedules, budgeting, partner / sponsor management, livestream coordination, community management, promotional marketing, copywriting, and graphic design for web / print / video.
