Unity Photo Mode
Design / Development
Unity Photo Mode is a demo package that helps creators learn how to add photography options to their games. The demo contains a collection of camera, image adjustment, and UI behaviors that enable players to enter a customizable in-game photography mode and prep their environment for the perfect screenshot.
I collaborated with two other Unity creators on the design, development, and delivery of this package. Our objective was to create an in-game photo mode that was as lightweight and universal as possible while remaining a clear learning resource for understanding editor features like the Input System, Cinemachine, and Shader Graph. It’s built to work across PC and console applications, uses Unity’s Universal Render Pipeline, and can be added to a wide array of games via a simple setup process. Learn more about its creation and features on the Unity Blog.
