When I was Lead Coordinator for Unity’s Developer Advocacy team, I managed the execution/support of hundreds of community events across North, Central, and South America. We wanted to help local game communities flourish and meet our users wherever they were — be it conferences, trade shows, meetups, hackathons, and more.
My data-informed approach to organizing our yearly event plans, calendars, and event promotions grew the team’s reach by 270%, reaching 50K attendees over 2.5 years. I also led the creation and expansion of the Unity Developer Day conference series, reaching over 6K Unity creators across the Americas through specialized conference tracks and developer showcases.
Day-to-day, I handled full logistics for events run by Unity Developer Advocacy — including venue sourcing / management, budgets, vendors, promotions, swag / signage creation, catering, speaker / game sourcing, developer / partner / sponsor relations, and much more.
